The USC Supreme Student Council (SSC) stands as the premier governing body of the University of San Carlos (USC) in Cebu, dedicated to representing and advocating for the diverse needs and interests of our vibrant student community. Established with the mission to foster student leadership, engagement, and empowerment, the SSC plays a crucial role in shaping the academic and extracurricular landscape of USC.

Our Mission

Our Structure

The SSC is comprised of elected representatives from various student organizations and academic departments, working together to address student concerns and drive campus-wide initiatives. Our structure includes the following key positions:

• President: The President leads the Council, representing the student body in all university-related matters and coordinating the Council’s overall activities and strategic direction.
• Vice President: The Vice President supports the President and oversees specific portfolios, ensuring the smooth functioning of Council projects and initiatives.
• Undersecretaries: The Secretary manages all documentation, meeting minutes, and communication within the Council and with the student body.
• Councilors: This role involves promoting SSC activities, events, and initiatives, and maintaining open lines of communication with students and stakeholders. They also have voting power to make decisions for the council and are the ones in the frontline in promoting the council's platforms and resolutions.

Our Activities

The SSC is actively involved in a wide range of activities and programs designed to enrich the USC student experience. These include:

• Student Advocacy: Representing student interests in university committees and discussions, and advocating for policies that enhance student life.
• Events and Activities: Organizing a variety of campus events, from cultural and academic celebrations to social gatherings and community service projects.
